Gothic II Complete Classic Arrives on Modern PlayStation and Xbox Consoles
Gothic II Complete Classic has launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing the full RPG experience to current-generation hardware. The package bundles the original Gothic II alongside the Night of the Raven expansion.
The story picks up following the collapse of the magical barrier and the escape of prisoners from the Valley of Mines. Chaos has overtaken the area around Khorinis, with former convicts roaming the forests and mountains, bandits preying on travelers, and the city guard struggling to contain the escalating danger. Players step back into the role of the Nameless Hero, returning to Khorinis to explore an expansive world where their choices shape how events unfold.
The Complete Classic edition features:
- more than 100 quests;
- over 500 unique NPCs, each with individual daily routines and dialogues;
- a branching storyline;
- more than 200 weapon types and magical spells;
- over 12 hours of full English voice acting.
Priced at 29.99 euros, the game is the second entry in the console trilogy. Gothic III Classic is set to follow, with a release date of November 24, 2026.
