Production +h Unveils Teaser Trailer and Poster for Hirayasumi Anime, Set for January 2027
Production +h, the studio behind Children on Orbit, has revealed both a teaser trailer and a poster for the anime adaptation of Hirayasumi. The series is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
The story centers on Ikuta Hiroto, whose easygoing existence takes an unexpected turn when he inherits his neighbor's house. Shortly after, his younger cousin Natsumi comes to live with him, and the two navigate life's daily challenges together.
Hirayasumi falls within the iyashikei genre — a style of storytelling that depicts characters living peacefully in comforting surroundings, designed to have a restorative effect on the audience. The tagline accompanying the announcement reads: "Sometimes slowing down is the best way to move forward."
Uchida Yuma has been cast as the protagonist. The voice actor's previous roles include Kawaki in Boruto and Sakura Haruka in Wind Breaker.
