A fairly viral image imagines Jason as something out of a past Rockstar throwback — e.g., a Hawaiian shirt, scuffed jeans, a gold watch, a brick phone and an Uzi — basically Tommy from Vice City with a new face. Lucia, by contrast, is pictured with only sneakers and an electronic ankle bracelet; the punchline being that even the sneakers are seen by many as wildly optimistic.
Some players have said, frankly, that they won't bother with the $100 extended edition — extra outfits won't alter their preferred playstyle. That’s the blunt truth for anyone hoping to spend much time "controlling a pretty girl" (honestly). On the flip side, expect some female players to enjoy checking Jason’s musculature — yes, people will do that.
How many outfits ship at launch remains unclear. Trailer analysis suggests Jason shows up in about 29 clothing combos and Lucia in roughly 26 (i.e., preliminary counts from the second trailer). The final build will probably add more than that.
Will Rockstar permit full nudity? Arguments in favor point to other big titles — e.g., Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 — which include full nudity and even genital customization while keeping mature ratings. The retort is simple: those games aren’t Rockstar, and Rockstar’s policies and brand choices differ.
Rockstar’s track record leans conservative: in Red Dead Redemption 2 you couldn’t even remove Arthur’s shirt without sidestepping in-game limits; in GTA V nudity was confined to a strip club, a Playboy-style mansion and a few specific Trevor scenes. The safest bets are underwear and swimsuits (i.e., beachwear for a seaside Leonida), nothing more explicit at launch.
Those hoping mods will change the situation should check the calendar. GTA 6 lands on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series (PC not announced). For context, GTA V reached PC 18 months and 28 days after console release, so patience may be required. Meanwhile, gameplay leaks are everywhere and Take-Two has begun pursuing the leakers.
