In the legend of zelda tears of the kingdom they built a racing pod from star wars

While people are still waiting for an official reveal of Star Wars: Galactic Racer on Switch 2, one player took matters into their own hands — inside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A few years ago domodesu0002 fashioned a pod-racer-esque vehicle inspired by Star Wars; recently they went back and rebuilt most of it from the ground up.

The refreshed design brings more convincing engine covers, rockets, a cable system that behaves much more like the film version, and a fuselage that reads like something pulled off Tatooine. Small touches add up: e.g., the cables sit closer to the engines and the bodywork has that dusty, lived-in feel.

It’s now noticeably nearer to the pod racer from "The Phantom Menace." The creator posted the setup on X and included a QR code so you can import and assemble the craft in your own game via the Zelda Notes app (i.e., scan the code and build it in-game).

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is due out October 6. If that release isn’t enough to scratch the itch, you can add it to your Steam wishlist.
