Marvel's Wolverine became #1 in France and Germany, and in Spain more than 51 thousand copies of the game were sold in a week.
First-week sales data from several European markets indicates a strong debut for Marvel's Wolverine. The action title topped the sales charts in both France and Germany.
In Spain, approximately 51 thousand copies were sold between September 14 and 20, according to video game data shared online. Physical editions accounted for 36,370 units — about 70% of that total — while digital sales reached 14,945 copies. By comparison, Ghost of Yōtei moved roughly 33 thousand copies during the same period.
The picture differs in the UK, where Marvel's Wolverine did not claim the top spot, finishing behind Ghost of Yōtei. Its performances in France and Germany, however, were enough to secure first place on those local charts.
Based on these early figures, PS Store DB projects that Marvel's Wolverine could reach 3.2 million copies sold worldwide by September 30. The game had previously drawn a mixed response from some critics and users, though its initial sales numbers have so far been strong.
