Mistfall hunter developers have acknowledged serious performance issues and asked for some time to fix everything

Since the recent update, Mistfall Hunter has been swimming in criticism. Players are reporting high ping, frequent crashes, and balance changes that many call botched; instead of calming old issues, the patch seems to have stirred them up.

Community manager Hugo says the devs see how big the problem is and won't sweep it under the rug. He noted a spike in negative reviews over the last few days. The team (devs + QA) is combing Discord threads, bug reports, and other platform discussions to collect evidence.

In extraction-style matches, technical faults hit especially hard. Control lag, characters teleporting, and abrupt crashes can turn a whole run into a loss — and folks are posting clips. On top of that, class shifts after the patch left some builds noticeably weaker while others remain overbearing.

Work is underway on multiple fronts: improving performance, increasing stability, and addressing balance. Progress is slower than anyone hoped, though — the studio admits it's short-staffed. Right now, fixing performance and crash issues is top priority; class tuning is being handled as a separate track.

Hugo asked for patience and, crucially, for concrete reports: logs, timestamps, and video captures of serious bugs. The more precise the info, the easier it is to route to the right specialist. He promised concrete updates as soon as they have them — ASAP, not sometime down the line.
