Netflix has dropped a new trailer for the remaining 11 episodes of the "Steel Ball Run" arc of the anime “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure” (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken).
Set in the 19th c., the plot follows ex-jockey Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli — a hereditary executioner from Naples — as they take part in an enormous horse race across the U.S., chasing a $50M prize. It’s odd, frenetic, sometimes brutal: the premise alone refuses to be small.
The show is slated to return on September 25, with new episodes landing on Netflix each Friday. The season’s premiere first aired on March 19 and ran 47 minutes; after that, the series went on hiatus — much to the impatience of viewers.
