Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition Overview Trailer Released
Creative Assembly and SEGA have unveiled an overview trailer for the upcoming Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition. The re-release, first announced a couple of weeks ago, is scheduled to arrive on October 13, 2026, across Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
The trailer features commentary from the team behind the project, who detail what players can expect from the new version. Among the key improvements are enhanced graphics, a revamped interface, and updated controls. The Complete Edition also introduces fifty new minor factions and includes built-in mod support powered by mod.io.
Both the historical campaign centered on the unification of fragmented feudal Japan and online multiplayer remain intact in this edition.
In addition to gameplay details, the video offers a look inside the developers' office, showing that the UK-based team at Creative Assembly is working alongside their Polish counterparts at Mataboo to bring new life to Total War: SHOGUN 2.
