A Steam page for the role-playing game Persona 6 has appeared with the first details

In June 2026, publisher SEGA and developer studio Atlus put up the official page for the upcoming JRPG Persona 6 on the digital distribution service Steam. It’s the first place the teams have shared story details, gameplay notes, and which languages the game will ship with.

The new entry promises an original tale and an all-new cast. That’s the studio’s pitch: veterans should recognize the feel, newcomers won’t need prior knowledge. Numbered entries in the franchise typically stand alone, so jumping in without playing earlier titles is possible.

Gameplay mixes a day-to-day high school sim set in contemporary Japan with excursions into a strange otherworld. Days cover classes, hanging out, romance, and routine errands; nights (or other realms) bring urban legends, odd rumors, and supernatural incidents to investigate — e.g., places that seem ordinary until they aren’t.

Combat revolves around Personas, manifestations of characters’ inner alter egos. Players can recruit allies who share similar powers. Investing time in social bonds will change how the party performs in fights; stronger relationships translate to more effective teamwork.

The Steam page notes text localization for Russian (interface + subtitles), but RU voice acting is not planned. EN will receive full voice acting alongside text translation. Overall support includes 15 languages.

Designed as a single-player experience, the game will support Steam achievements, Steam Cloud saves, family sharing, and full compatibility with Xbox and PlayStation controllers. FYI: the title will use the Denuvo Anti-tamper copy-protection system.

A quick nod to lineage: the series began with Revelations: Persona in 1996, originally a spin-off from Shin Megami Tensei. More than 30 years later the franchise has evolved and, collectively, sold over 30 million copies. No official release date for Persona 6 has been announced yet.
