In Broken Arrow, the team rolled out a new "Spectator" mode the community has been asking for. It lets you watch battles without taking part — useful for streams, tournaments, match analysis, etc. In custom lobbies the host can now name observers via an expanded "Waitlist." Observers may be attached to a side or kept neutral, and they can flip between Alpha, Bravo, or a broad overview on the fly.
Once the fight starts, observers get their own UI: a pared-down TAB with econ and stats, alongside deeper, real-time views of particular players and their units. You can even open unit cards in the exact player config — handy for streamers and analysts who need quick access. The devs say the mode is nearly finished; a few final tweaks remain, including broader observation options and adjustments for different game modes, so expect changes as it lands.
