Cavan in Euro Truck Simulator 2: SCS Software Reveals Another City in the Isle of Ireland DLC

Cavan in euro truck simulator 2 scs software reveals another city in the isle of ireland dlc

SCS Software has released another set of screenshots for the upcoming Isle of Ireland expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, this time highlighting the town of Cavan. The town — the administrative center of County Cavan, situated in the heart of the Irish lakelands — is shown amid rolling green fields and farmland and will serve as a regional hub in the expansion’s road network.

The studio says it paid close attention to local character when building Cavan, incorporating distinctive features such as stone walls and a rugby field. In-game, the town will host several delivery locations tied to the area’s economy. Players can expect a local fuel supplier that supports businesses and settlements across the county, a food distribution center handling refrigerated and packaged goods, and a supermarket warehouse for routine product deliveries.

Isle of Ireland, announced in October 2025 at Poznań Game Arena, is the twelfth map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and will include territory from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Alongside Cavan, SCS has already confirmed Dublin, Belfast, Cork, and Galway for the map. Earlier previews have showcased Ireland’s N59 — the country’s longest national secondary road at over 290 kilometers — as well as the scenic Connemara Loop and Kylemore Abbey.

Ireland will introduce some unique driving conditions to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 map: left-hand traffic, relatively few highways, and many narrow roads lined with stone walls and living hedges, creating a different driving rhythm compared with other regions. No release date has been announced yet, but Isle of Ireland is available to add to your wishlist on Steam.
