The 15th season is already underway in Diablo IV — plus the release on Switch 2 and a free event on Steam

Blizzard Entertainment has launched the fifteenth season of Diablo IV, titled "Season of the Infernal Legacy." The update introduces encounters with the embodiments of the Prime Evils (echoes of Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto), new Soul Needle gems, recurring "Nightmares Awake" events, shared progress for war plans, and a revised system for crafting epochal unique items, along with a range of other enhancements and content.

In addition to the seasonal launch, Diablo IV has been released on the Nintendo Switch 2. That version includes the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions. A free access promotion is also active on Steam through September 21.
