ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut Arrives on PS5 on November 3 – Spy RPG to Feature New Scenes and Full Voice Acting

ZA/UM has set November 3 as the release date for ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut on PlayStation 5. The studio also confirmed that a free Director’s Cut update for the PC version will be published the same day, bringing new content and various improvements to existing players.

ZERO PARADES originally released on PC as ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies on May 21. The story follows Hershel Wilk, codenamed CASCADE, an operative who vanished from active duty after an incident five years earlier that cost her team their lives. She is now pulled back into service for a shadowy assignment that could redeem her reputation.

The game blends narrative cRPG mechanics with spy-thriller elements. Players investigate cases, speak with informants and other characters, pass skill checks, and develop Hershel’s abilities. Choices made during play influence relationships, open or close story branches, and affect the protagonist’s psychological state.

Combat centers on tactical encounters that use a “fate roll” system. During fights players can pause time to assess the battlefield, plan moves, and select strategies. The design embraces failure as part of progression — mistakes have consequences that must be lived with and leveraged to move forward.

Director’s Cut will add a new dramatic scene and a “behind the scenes” mode. The update also introduces full voice acting, improvements to inventory management, additional outfits, and support for ultrawide monitors with 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.

ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut launches on PlayStation 5 on November 3, and the same Director’s Cut update will be made available for PC at no cost on that date.
