Control Resonant will get New Game++, photo mode, and more - Remedy talked about post-release support

Control resonant will get new game photo mode and more remedy talked about post release support

A day after CONTROL Resonant’s release, Remedy thanked players for the warm reception and published its initial post-launch roadmap, sharing details in a blog post. The studio said it is already working on several additions, including a New Game++ mode, a full photo mode, and extra cosmetic items for protagonist Dylan Faden.

Remedy emphasized that finishing the main storyline is not the end of the experience: players can continue with side quests, hunt for hidden content, unlock World Feats, or launch a New Game+ playthrough. Under the current system, New Game+ (NG+) can be used only once. An October update will introduce NG++, allowing players to begin a fresh playthrough layered on top of their existing progress without resetting it.

One of the most requested features, a dedicated photo mode, is slated to arrive in November. Remedy said the feature has been in development for a long time and that the studio consulted virtual photographers from the community while building it. Photo mode was omitted from the release build so the team could prioritize the game’s stability and quality.

Remedy also confirmed plans to expand Dylan Faden’s wardrobe with new cosmetic items in future updates. The studio reminded players that many costumes are still discoverable in-game, and that some exclusive skins can be obtained via newsletter subscriptions and Twitch Drops.

The developers closed the update by thanking players for their support and asking them to continue submitting feedback as the team prepares the upcoming updates for CONTROL Resonant.
