Mistfall hunter has been released and invites hunters to see who will make it out of the fog alive

After a string of tests and demos — and a few raised eyebrows — Mistfall Hunter has finally been released. It's available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and if you're on Xbox Game Pass you can start playing without buying the title separately.

The setting is the Gyldenmist: a spreading fog that warps life into monsters. You tackle raids alone or in three-person squads (i.e., trios), facing both AI creatures and rival hunters in PvPvE clashes, scooping up gear and attempting an extraction before the haul evaporates into failure. Tension is constant; one wrong choice can turn a successful run into nothing.

At launch there are several classes, each changing how you approach fights and team roles enough to encourage experimentation. Bellring Games leans into risk — the world feels oppressive, and failed runs often wipe your progress. Expect hard lessons, sudden reversals, and the kind of grudges that come from losing everything at the last minute (e.g., that one missed evac you won’t forget).
