Netflix has ordered a second season of "House of Guinness," according to Variety. Shooting is slated to begin in early 2027.
The show turns the Guinness family into serialized drama — brewery life and bitter kinship, with transatlantic ambition threaded through the plot. It’s set in 19th-century Dublin and New York (e.g., brewery floors and shipping docks), so expect a lot of atmosphere rather than a straight history lesson.
Cast includes Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge and Jack Gleeson, among others. Steven Knight (yes, the creator of "Peaky Blinders") developed the project, and his fingerprints are apparent in the pacing and tone — quick shifts, pointed lines, etc. Will season two expand the scope or simply repeat familiar beats? Time (and early 2027 cameras) will tell.
