Mabinogi Mobile Taiwan Launches First Collaboration with MapleStory
NEXON and developer devCAT have rolled out a new update for the Taiwanese version of Mabinogi Mobile, bringing the game its first collaboration in the region. The event introduces MapleStory characters and monsters into the world of Erinn, including Orange Mushroom, Pink Bean, and Slime. These events are time-limited.
The collaboration features three main activities:
- "Boing! Boing! Slime Dungeon" — includes the Slime Dash challenge;
- "Maple Campfire Story" — allows players to rest by the campfire, play musical instruments, and cook food;
- Daily quests "Cycle of Maple Bounty" — unlock new rewards progressively.
Players who complete the required conditions will receive three transformation dolls: Cute Head Warrior, Pink Bean, and Middle-Part Warrior. Using these dolls transforms the character into familiar MapleStory heroes.
A login calendar is also running during the event period. Daily logins reward gold, costume tickets, and pet tickets. An Orange Mushroom cone hat is granted on the 10th day of accumulated visits.
In addition, there is a separate "Erinn Maple Festival" giveaway. To enter, participants must complete specified tasks on one server during the event period and claim their rewards. The top prize includes two round-trip plane tickets to Korea and two tickets to Lotte World in Busan, which features a MapleStory-themed zone.
The developers will host a "Maple Comes to Erinn" stream on YouTube, where a host from the official team will walk through mechanics, rewards, and item appearances. On Discord, the "Conquer Boing Boing Slime" challenge is underway, offering in-game rewards for completing tasks. During the stream, in-game items and MyCard points—a Taiwanese payment system—will be given away as well.
