Tempest Rising Strategy Game to Receive The Veti’s Wrath Expansion on September 29 — Watch the Trailer
A new trailer has been released for The Veti’s Wrath, the upcoming expansion for Tempest Rising, confirming a September 29 launch. The short video highlights brutal engagements and introduces several new units and buildings that will arrive with the DLC.
The add-on centers on the Veti, a people portrayed as nearly extinct but gathering the strength to strike back. The expansion’s narrative is driven by the influence of an imprisoned Veti lord who corrupts his followers’ minds with promises of retribution.
“The ancient Veti lord, imprisoned for devouring entire world-colonies, poisons the minds of his people with words that echo through the ages. And if vengeance fails, the blame will not fall on humans.”
Gameplay content in The Veti’s Wrath includes an 11-mission story campaign focused on the Veti faction, which brings its own distinctive traits, units, machines, buildings, and a superweapon. Players who own the base Tempest Rising will also get access to the Veti faction in multiplayer and skirmish modes at no extra cost.
The original Tempest Rising strategy game launched on PC in April 2025 and earned very positive player reviews.
