Charlie Cox Will Voice Another Game After the Success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Actor Charlie Cox, whose credits include "Daredevil" and "Stardust", will continue working in the games space. After taking part in last year’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, he says a new project is already in the works.
In that previous title, Cox provided the voice for Gustav while Maxence Cazorla handled the motion capture. The session was surprisingly brief — around four hours to log the lines — but the next gig, he hinted, won't be so quick; i.e., it will likely involve far more than a handful of voice takes and may include full mocap.
He admitted the unexpected success of Expedition 33 steered him into this area of work. This year he’ll appear in another game and, although he kept specifics to himself, the implication was clear: expect deeper involvement (esp. on the performance side).
Cox also singled out the gaming community — he hadn’t anticipated that level of passion. He compared it to Marvel fandom and called the whole thing "very cool."
