Dave Goes to the Jungle — Major DLC for Dave the Diver Releasing June 18
It took more than a year from the first tease to a firm date: the In the Jungle expansion for Dave the Diver will arrive on June 18. The info drops in a new trailer, posted by the South Korean studio Mintrocket.
The add-on carries a new story campaign of roughly 10 hours — Dave and his friends head deep inland. Once they reach the settlement, the group puts down roots in a local village and sets up their own place (think: a small business run by outsiders trying not to break anything).
In Utara the clock actually matters: day/night cycles run in real time, i.e., you can't pause the world and come back later without consequences. Dave can roam the jungle or dive the lake to check out underwater fauna, build rapport with villagers, take on tasks and mini-games (there’s even an homage to cult favorite Duck Hunt in the trailer), try new weapons in action, etc.
Dave the Diver is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, and it features Russian text. A mobile release is planned for a later date.
Also — for those who like boxes and extras — the devs revealed two new physical editions: a complete edition and a collector's edition.
