Rumors about refreshed editions of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas keep floating around; some fans suspect they'll receive the same treatment as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
Then Iron Galaxy Studios — the outfit that helped on Fallout 76 and does a lot of porting work — added fuel to the chatter.
On social media, Iron Galaxy Studios announced they’d held a meeting to review progress and plan next steps. Oddly enough, the post included a screenshot of a loading screen from Fallout: New Vegas — FYI, that single image is what everyone latched onto.
So: are they dropping hints about a New Vegas or Fallout 3 remaster, or is this just internal material that leaked into a public update? The studio has worked with Bethesda before; their credits include support on Fallout 76, handling ports of Skyrim to other platforms, and releasing Fallout 4 VR — nothing here is definitive, just context.
Of course, it’s possible the photo means nothing beyond being a slide in a deck or a placeholder. I’m curious, but tbh a single screenshot isn’t a smoking gun.
Fans have been led astray before — by a Steam glitch and by a reversed countdown on the Fallout TV site, so skepticism is warranted.
