Star of "Anora" and several other actors joined the cast of the Netflix film

Deadline reports that Karen Karagulian ("Anora"), Toni Collette ("Juror Number Two"), Salvatore Esposito ("Gomorrah"), Michele Savoyia ("Ferrari"), and Lorenzo De Muro ("You, Me and Summer in Tuscany") have joined the cast of the film Positano.

The lead parts were already snapped up by Matthew McConaughey ("The Lost Bus") and Zoe Saldana ("Guardians of the Galaxy").

Plotwise, it follows a charming jewel thief who ends up helping a mysterious woman — what starts as a small favor turns into a big job where the payoff isn't just cash.

The director attached is Daniel Roher ("The Catcher"). Netflix will distribute the film; premiere date is TBD (i.e., not announced yet).

Casting choices are interesting — Collette in particular could pull the tone one way or another, so it’ll be worth watching how the ensemble meshes.
