Square Enix has unveiled a new trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance, focusing on the game's story. The release of the video coincides with the Tokyo Game Show 2026, currently taking place in Japan.
This installment marks a brand-new chapter for the franchise, featuring a pixel art visual style. The adventure follows Rain and his companions as they travel across far-off lands, delve into perilous dungeons, and face powerful enemies.
Set to launch on October 22, 2026, this is the first Final Fantasy title built in HD-2D. It will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A demo and pre-orders are now live across all these platforms.
