The owlcat launcher is already available in warhammer 40000 rogue trader but it can be disabled

Since January, Owlcat quietly ran its new launcher with alpha testers of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. It has since popped up in Rogue Trader — a step toward folding more of the studio's titles under one system, eventually.

The "unobtrusive" launcher lets you set up a single acct. to reach Owlcat sites, catch news, read about games, and buy, install or launch them. It’s optional: no forced signup, no third-party installs slipped onto your machine, and the studio says it won't pull data from your PC. You can switch the launcher off in settings if you prefer — I expect a fair number will. Future tweaks are planned too; one example: linking existing Owlcat portal accounts to your launcher acct. so keys for test and release builds are easier to fetch.
